This is a different style that I may go with for my second series. Compare it with "With Wings We Can Fly..." and tell me which one you think is better and why.

If you're wondering what the significance of the red kangaroo is and what it has to do with the defense of Australia, it is actually from the logo of the Royal Australian Air Force.

Hah! Love the Kangaroo...I really like the wireframe stuff, looks good! Probably the thing that catches my eye the most/most intriguing is the verctor graphics on the right side! I really like that, looks good!

He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' ; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "
Luke 10:27 NIV
Well as I explained the kangaroo is from the Royal Australian Air Force's logo which is a dark blue ring with the red kangaroo inside it. I kinda have an obsession with the RAAF. My grandfather was in the RAAF and I at one time was considering joining.

Well I have a friend who is a photographer and she and I just sit around some times experimenting with filters and effects to see what we get. Just experiment with things and see what you get. I do. Try and look for free filter plug-ins. They are generally heaps better than the ones that come with photoshop.

Now that's what I'm talking about! :D Everything that was slightly lacking on WWWCF you fixed here, and everything you did good on it you did better!

And it has positive mention of a military force! That's not something you see everyday anymore... :)

As art: Beutiful! I like the choice of colors and the use of 3D effects on this one.

As a wallpaper: Well designed and actually usable as one. (There's spots to put the desktop icons without obstructing the art, as there should be.)

It looks like you put quite a bit of effort into this, and I say it was time well spent.

Hey, that's funny, my granddad was in the USAAC (United States Army Air Corps) in WW2. And my dad was in the Air Force on the later 60's. So I find this tribute to the Aussie Air Force quite nice. Good work, and definitely better than before! :)

"Sir," The insulted crowd belted out, "You don't look bad."
Well I have a great admiration for my grandparents. My grandfather (my mother's father) was in the Air Force as I mentioned and my grandmother was in the Army as a part of the Red Cross. My grandfather was even in Japan after the Japanese serendered. I own one of his old uniforms and hope to own all his medals some day. I admire those who go to war for there courage but do not admire the administrations that put them there.

It's amazing what you find on a random browse. :D

love the widescreen effect, the way it's split into 3 parts horizontally, and the twisted 'spine' in the middle of it all. The kangaroo and message are fantastic little touches too, and it's good to see something with meaning, you know?

*sets as desktop wallpaper*:)

And nothing else matters when I turn it up loud
Nice. Thanks. :D Did you really set it as your desktop?!?
